RIP: The Keeley RAT II+ has been certified dead by Keeley USA. Sadly they will not supply them to anybody, despite offering to throw money at them to keep the pedal available this side of the pond. The page is still currently on the Keeley UK site but the shopping cart won't accept orders for the Rat. Sorry for any disappointment. Any questions please email us or call +44 (0)1223 841035 Monday, April 7

We will be adding the 4-knob Keeley Compressor to our standard stock during September. It won't have a web page of its own for a while so you will need to order it by phone. Call us on 01223 841035 (+44 1223 841035 from outside the UK) or email us on sales@robertkeeley.co.uk Our price is a very competitive £199 total, that INCLUDES delivery within the UK by Royal Mail Special Delivery (EU add £3.95, rest of world add £5.00 for fully insured signed-for service) and as always with us the price you see is the price you pay - we never tempt you with "special" prices that need VAT and/or postage adding. Product update! All SD-1ge 5 star Super Overdrive pedals shipping from now on do NOT have the Burr Brown chip installed. Instead they get two stacked TI RC4558P chips operating in parallel, which reduces the noise and improves the sound even further than the previous models. The BB chip is no longer included with SD-1s. If you have any questions about this or any other feature of our pedals please get in touch by email to info@robertkeeley.co.uk or phone to +44 (0)1223 841035. Friday, July 13

The Diago Powerstation (http://www.robertkeeley.co.uk/acc_powersupplies.htm) pack has been upgraded; all orders from today will ship with a 6-way daisy chain instead of the 5-way previously supplied. The output plugs are now right angled instead of straight which saves a little space on your board and works better with pedals that have their jack mounted on the side. The plugs are spaced 300mm apart instead of 140mm which gives you more flexibility too. There is no change to the Powerstation kit price with the new cable at £54 UK delivered. The daisy chain cable price (when bought separately) changes from £6 to £8 UK delivered. Tuesday, June 19

We are now permanently out of stock of the Vox 847 Mello Wah (the base pedal has been discontinued by Vox) and our online shopping cart will not let you order this item. We hope to have a replacement model for this pedal available from Robert soon but in the meantime the Crybaby is an excellent alternative.

In response to several questions from customers I checked into advertised pricing of Robert Keeley pedals and found some potentially confusing "special offers" out there on the web that initially appear to be rather cheap. And they would be too - if you didn't have to add postage and VAT to them. The fact that the headline price shown to suck you in is much lower than you'll actually pay is typically explained in tiny type somewhere and you sometimes don't even get shown your total when you checkout either so who knows what will actually be charged to your credit card? For your convenience all our prices are your REAL TOTAL UK price - you don't need to add anything to them - the price you see on our web pages is always the DELIVERED (by Royal Mail Special Delivery, fully insured, overnight) price within the UK. EU customers add £3.95 postage once no matter how many pedals are in the order. Simple. Tuesday, February 13

I've been asked the same things a few times now so it's time to post something on the blog: 1. When assembling George L's cables with right-angle plugs, screw the cap down until it bottoms out. It MUST be screwed all the way down until it's metal-to-metal else you run the risk of poor contact and of it working loose over time. 2. The best tool I've found for cutting George L's cable of either .155" or .225" size is a pair of pet nail/claw clippers. The best model of clippers I've found is made by Mikki, model 6275-154 and costs around £5. I will be stocking these later this year. Monday, December 4

It's been a busy week for Keeley web site and product updates! The latest change is our adoption of a new power supply for pedalboards - the Powerstation. This is a universal supply that can handle mains input from all the world's supplies and gives a high current (up to 3A) fully regulated 9Vdc output capable of powering an astonishing 30 pedals. It comes complete with a 5-way daisy-chain output cable with 2.1mm barrel plugs; extra daisy-chain cables can be added to power more pedals. The Powerstation is compact and light and accepts mains power cords for all countries in the world. It comes complete with Velcro to attach it to your pedalboard. Most importantly it's electrically quiet and stable so will work well with your boutique and high-gain pedals.

The Nova Wah LE is the 2006 “Light Edition” of the famous Keeley Nova Wah. The LE version Robert has had some of the lesser-used functions of the original pedal removed to bring the price down and make it affordable.
This is a two channel fixed Wah with true bypass switching and yellow Fasel inductor. A 3-way way bass-sweep switch gives you mellow or cutting tone; SRV, Hendrix, Clapton are all there!
The amount of gain and midrange when the pedal's on can be adjusted from unity to loud using the internal trim control. Very handy for using the Nova Wah as a lead boost.
Blue LED for power on, dual red/green LED indicates wah channel selected.
The Nova is not an autowah! It’s a manual, fixed wah that lets you preset your two favourite sounds and toggle between them using a footswitch without rocking around trying to find the right spot!
Price £195 including (as with all Keeley pedals from us) overnight delivery. |
